This piece by EdWeek dives into the early release of our Evaluators and Knowledge Graph tools, and our partnership with Anthropic, as part of our efforts to scale proven teaching and learning practices to benefit every learner.

Knowledge Graph offers a pre-made, broad dataset meant to help developers improve the accuracy of the content generated by artificial intelligence.

The data includes academic standards from 50 states across the four core subjects, with learning components that break down the standards into more precise skills and concepts, particularly in math. The tool also maps between standards and learning components, the organization wrote in an email…

…“Today’s [large language models] are not yet customized to the context or the needs of students and teachers,” she said. “They have more opportunity to be grounded in the rigor of learning science, as well as what students need to learn and achieve at different grade levels.”
